Each of these ensembles is astounding in different ways, but Saturday Night was the project that required the actors to together most robustly. That many one-shots with fast dialogue and tricky blocking, with most actors balancing impersonations with an effort to keep things grounded... I thought they nailed it!

But: I was also so moved by how the family unit worked together in I'm Still Here, and how the actors of Sing Sing channeled their lives (as so many of them were actual former prisoners)... wow.
